Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)- 60hrs: $500.00
The First Responder is an individual who has been trained to render aid to the sick or injured, prior to the arrival of more advanced and equipped personnel. A First Responder is taught how to recognize and treat life-threatening conditions at the scene of illness or injury. Included at this level is training in the use of CPR, splinting, bandaging, control of bleeding, and shock.
Emergency Medical Technician – 174hrs. $1475.00
A Basic Emergency Medical Technician is an individual who has been trained to perform basic emergency medical care.
The delivery of basic first aid, CPR, AED, administration of oxygen, the delivery of certain medications as defined by the Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) National Standard Curriculum, and other basic equipment used by emergency response personnel are included at this level.
An SNHD licensed EMT may provide basic emergency medical care only when functioning on duty as an Ambulance Attendant, Aeromedical Ambulance Attendant, or Firefighter Attendant.
Tuition Includes Didactic & Clinical experience, National Registry Skills testing, American Heart Association CPR for the Health Care Provider & Class Shirt.
Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) – 154hrs $1475.00
A SNHD licensed Advanced EMT (AEMT) can perform as an EMT with additional training in advanced emergency medical care. An AEMT may provide advanced emergency medical care only when functioning on duty as an Ambulance Attendant, Aeromedical Ambulance Attendant, or Firefighter Attendant.
Use of intravenous therapy, supraglottic airway devices, and limited advanced medications administration are included at this level defined by the Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the National Standard Curriculum.
Tuition includes CPR for the Health Care Provider, National Registry Psychomotor Testing and class shirt.
Books are not included in the tuition. We are using Brady’s Emergency Care 13ed.

All Homework, Quizzes, and Test are done online through the Brady MyLab program. Students must have regular access to a laptop or desktop computer. Must also have regular access to a printer.
Space is limited to the first 25 paid registrations. You may cancel your registration at any time prior to the first day of class and receive a refund minus a non-refundable $150.00 fee.

- Minimum of High School Diploma or High School Equivalent/Transcripts
- Picture ID
- Current Two-step TB Skin Test (within the last year)
- Proof of Childhood Immunizations (MMR, DPT or D-tap, Chicken Pox)
- Hepatitis B Vaccinations series
- Nevada State or higher Background check (information given during orientation)
- 10 Panel Drug screening (information given during orientation)
