Happy Holiday’s Everyone,
I cannot think of a single person that is not looking forward to the end of 2020. This has been a year of turmoil with, the COVID pandemic, a strange election year, shaky economy and so many employment losses. Many have battled COVID and most have recovered, however, many families have suffered devastating losses of life.
This year we have lost several of our EMS/Hospital/Fire/Police family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and loved ones.
To all our front-line workers, we are so proud of who you are and what you do. I include all the people that have been working nonstop at our grocery and essential stores, fast food, and restaurant delivery personnel. They are every bit the heroes that our first responders are, and they put themselves in harm’s way everyday as well….Thank you!
As we are considered an essential business, we have continued to offer EMT and AEMT courses throughout this year. Many of our students have gone on to join the fire department and ambulance services, we are extremely proud of them.
We have continued to offer National Registry testing as well as Refresher Courses. In April we became the first training facility in the nation to resume live National Registry Psychomotor testing since the COVID shutdowns.
We have modified our courses to be compliant with all COVID mandates and CDC recommendations. We are currently live streaming our lectures if class sizes are over 15 people. We are doing all labs live in house because we can keep group sizes to 8 people per room for skills. Masks are always required while in and around the premises. Temperature screening is required as you enter the building, and we have MANY hand sanitizing locations throughout.
As we move forward, we have several courses posted on our website open for registration. They have been filling up very quickly and we are trying to add more to keep up with the demand. We are in the middle of a recertification period, we have in person Refresher Courses January, February, and March. A few companies have contacted us regarding hiring opportunities as well, we have listed them below, with either flyers or website/contact information.
Below are only some of the courses available, you may go to our website at www.emstrainingcenter.com to see a complete list. Space is limited.
Stay safe and healthy, wear your mask, wash your hands often. As always, we appreciate your continued support and your business, and as we move into 2021, our love and prayers are with all of you and hope that the new year brings new beginnings and some measure of peace.
